Our Vision
Mission for the Chinese Immersion Program
Chinese-Mandarin is the second most useful language in the world, and is extremely beneficial to know - especially later in life! We encourage everyone to start learning languages as soon as they can, as the younger we are, the more absorbent our brains can be. Studies have shown that knowing a second language is a skill that puts you above the rest, but the best reason to learn Chinese is this: making new friends in different parts of the world!
Where Kids Learn
"Play is our brain's favorite way of learning."
- Diane Ackerman
Our center features 2 newly renovated playrooms and a brand new classroom designed for optimal learning. We believe that young children still need individualized attention, which is why we have a low ratio of 1:5 teacher to student ratio, and 1:3 for our Chinese Mandarin Immersion class. We are licensed through the state of California, License #197419752. Please contact us to schedule a tour of our home daycare!
ACTIVITIES
Child Development
Dramatic Play
Learning through dramatic play is essential in growing a child's awareness of the ever changing social world, and how to properly interact in it!
STEM
We all know the importance of STEM, but keeping STEM fun can be challenging. It's a good thing the teachers at Tiny Scholars are always up for a challenge!
Motor Skills
We offer a variety of ways to play, learn, and exercise through the use of fine & gross motor skills! Examples include fine motor games with tongs, scissors, and markers, as well as gross motor games with obstacle courses and climbing structures.
Literature
Reading time is offered during play 4 times a day, and we read to the children during lunch everyday to ensure they get at least 1 book in a day!
